who am i?: The name's Jooj!! I'm a Belgian artist who delights in creating art that reflects my interests, original characters, and ship art!! :-)
what else...?: I'm neurodivergent (autistic) and I'm very vocal and excited regarding of my interests... I'm a riako selfshipper and I've cherished Rarold, a character from the comic "Be Kind, My Neighbor" since August 15th, 2022. He has been a tremendous source of joy for me ever since. ^ _ ^ ♥
"Be Kind My Neighbor" is my special interest, and I frequently create and discuss it. I particularly enjoy crafting art that features Rarold, my fictional other and my self-insert paired with him, Mousey!! As all farmers say: "Love wins in the field." <3

Welcome to the Rarold zone! First of all, I want to mention I've loved Rarold since reading the comic book on August 15th, 2022. He has become my fictional other ever since, and I show my love for him through my original character, Mousey, who serves as a self-insert!!! I'm grateful for all my friends, mutuals, and anyone else,—,your support means a lot to me! I am always pleased to talk about him with people who appreciate him as a character!! :-)

Here's a list of a few of my personal headcanons for Rarold... they are all canon in my heart... teehee smiles. :-)

❀ Beatles fan. (Actually would be canon... he does sing "Please, Mr. Postman", in the book!)
❀ Hello Kitty fan... the guy is completely a cat person. Also HK was created in 1974, it does fit for the BKMN universe. (Story is set in 1973, then later 1974)
❀ Date of birth is January 3rd, 1925... why that specific date you may ask? When I listened for the first time to the BKMN author's playlist on Spotify I saw the song "Don't go into that Barn" by Tom Waits was added on a January 3rd, and I was like "Perfect for Rarold, because that'd make him a capriCORN!" since he is a corn farmer. Also, I'm a capricorn myself (my birthday being January 16th), so that makes it double-perfect to me!!!
❀ Touch starved... no worries Mousey will give him a lot of attention and cuddles.
❀ Probably watches "The Young and the Restless"... (Won't admit it)

You might wonder, what exactly is Corntato...? It's the selfship/oc x canon pairing of Rarold, from the comic "Be Kind, My Neighbor" by Yugo Limbo, and my own creation, Mousey, who serves as a self insert. Both are farmers, with Rarold specializing in corn and Mousey in potatoes. It is through this ship that I express my affection for him! :-]

A few fun facts!!
❀ Rarold was born on January 3rd, 1925 (headcanon), and Mousey's birthdate is August 19th, 1927. The both of them are 48 and 46. (in 1973) Fun fact Aug. 19 is Potato day.
❀ From rivals to lovers dynamic.
❀ Their first encounter was on September 21st, 1952.
❀ They've been rivals since Mousey defeated Rarold for the first time in an agricultural competition in October 1952.
❀ Their romance began on October 31st, 1973, at the local Baths' Halloween party, sharing their first kiss to the tune of "Close To You" by Carpenters.
❀ Once a couple, they became fiercely protective of one another. Despite Rarold's anger issues and self-doubt, Mousey consistently strives to uplift him.
❀ In 1979, they are happily married, and together they have a son named Spudington. (Born on Dec. 24, 1975)
